<p>This is a Market Engagement Exercise and not a call for competition.</p> <p>The Council is currently reviewing its home care model for Children and Young People (CYP) and Commissioners would like to test the market and gather information. This process is not a formal tender or other competitive process and will not result in the award of a contract. Our vision is for all children and young people to be safe and healthy, achieve their full potential, be active and responsible citizens and emotionally and economically resilient for their future.</p> <p>The tender requirement will be for the provision of high-quality personal care service eligible to CYP with special educational needs or disability aged 0 to 18 which is expected to deliver practical, social and emotional support necessary to maintain an individual in health, hygiene and safety in their own home and provide a short break for their parent(s). The service provider(s) will be expected to work with CYP who have one or more of the following conditions:</p> <p> • Communication, Behavioural, Emotional and Social Needs</p> <p>• Learning Disabilities</p> <p>• Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD)Challenging Behaviour</p> <p>• Sensory Impairment</p> <p>• Other long-term medical conditions</p> <p>•Multiple Disabilities</p> <p>To participate in this exercise, please complete the attached questionnaire and return no later than 2pm, Friday 17th February 2023.</p> <p>It is anticipated that the tender requirement will be sought in the second quarter of 2023 to enable new contracts begin in December 2023.</p> Keywords: Children Social Care, Children and Young People, Domiciliary Care, Home Care
