<p>The enforcement landscape within the London Borough of Brent is typical of urban London Local Authorities. It is a mix of busy high street areas such as Wembley, Kilburn and Harlesden town centres, with extensive residential areas surrounding them. The town centres are linked by a network of trunk and secondary roads under mixed control of the London Borough of Brent and other agencies. The borough has an extensive network of Controlled Parking Zones and other parking restrictions that operate over a range of days and hours, depending on local pressures on kerb space, traffic flow and safety requirements.
