Tender description

Kirklees Council is undertaking a Market Sounding Exercise (MSE) to understand the views of the market place prior to undertaking a procurement process for a cloud hosted, Operational Services Asset Management System. Further information on this MSE process is available through the YORtender portal at https://yortender.eu-supply.com. Lot 1: Kirklees Council is issuing this Market Sounding Exercise (MSE) to alert suppliers of a forthcoming procurement opportunity for a Cloud hosted Operational Services Asset Management System and by doing so we are keen to understand where the market stands in terms of our requirements and the Social Value outcomes that could be achieved through this contract for the Kirklees district. To support this, we would like to gain information from the market regarding several issues related to the procurement exercise. Suppliers are therefore invited to consider the draft specification that is availble to download from the YORtender system and complete the questionnaire also published to give us feedback that will be used to further develop the Specification. This MSE is not an invitation to tender or a request for formal expressions of interest. The Council, as contracting authority, is issuing this request for information only, to assess the reaction of the market and thus make any potential procurement process more focused and efficient.
