Tender description

The ARI Hub model should demonstrate an adequate urgent same day response in primary care that is supported by the community and secondary care providers. ARI Hubs will ensure timely and appropriate care to the population experiencing acute, episodic respiratory needs and to reduce the impact of escalation through the pathway and ultimately reduce attendances and admissions to hospital. The additional capacity is also intended to reduce the burden of acute respiratory illness on primary care releasing time for primary care to support patients where continuity of care is most important (such as those with existing long-term conditions and co-morbidity).
