LI2706C – PIN/RFI for the Supply of an Automated Storage, Retrieval and Return System (ASRRS)

Tender description

Supply, Delivery, installation, and maintenance of a high-density, Automated Storage, Retrieval and Return System (ASRRS) for the storage of Library Collections in the University of Galway Library and Learning Commons. The ASRRS is intended to store Library collections in a high-density, secure environment. Library collections to be stored in the ASRRS include the following formats: • Hardback and paperback books • Bound journals and single journal issues • Audiovisual material, such as DVDs, CDs, audio and video cassettes The ASRRS should store a minimum of 400,000 items and a solution that offers capacity for growth beyond that number would be welcome.
