Downpatrick Racecourse - Track Widening Scheme

Tender description

The project is for the provision of all such construction services as are required to deliver the widening of a significant portion of the existing track surface at Downpatrick Racecourse, with works to include cut and fill and track surface grading, and relocation and regrading of adjacent ambulance track. Supporting work includes, inter alia: topsoil strip / localised fill excavation; hedge removal / hedge planting; and alterations to fencing. Lot 1: Procurement will be via combined pre-qualification (PQQ) and invitation to tender (ITT) exercise. The PQQ will be scored on the basis of quality and the documentation requires submission of responses which will be scored against a published marking scheme. The ITT will be scored on the basis of price. The works contract is the NEC 4 Engineering and Construction Contract - Main Option A.
