PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION. IT IS NOT A TENDER PROCESS. Buckinghamshire Council is undertaking a preliminary market engagement exercise prior to tendering for the provision of a financial insecurity and welfare service to support those struggling financially in Buckinghamshire. Suppliers are invited to participate in this exercise by completing the attached questionnaire. This will help the Council understand the market. The information obtained from this exercise may be used to inform the Council’s approach to the procurement process it undertakes for the delivery of these services. As such, this notice does not formally signify the beginning of a procurement process and does not constitute commitment to undertake a procurement exercise. In the event that the Council decides to commence a formal procurement exercise a separate Contract Notice will be issued. Buckinghamshire Council is considering its future commissioning intentions for the provision of a financial and welfare service to deliver a solution to address the evolving financial insecurity and wellbeing landscape for residents. This will result in taking a more holistic approach across a full range of advice and support functions covering: - Generalist advice - Debt advice and counselling - Welfare benefits and advice - Money management and budgeting - Preventative service to stop resident getting into debt. An efficient and high-quality customer based service is required and must be operational by 1st July 2024.
