Stonehaven Skatie Shore Path - Path Replacement

Tender description

476m long, 1.5m wide replacement aggregate path incorporating tree planting and replacement timber steps. The original path was storm damaged by windblown trees and the subsequent timber extraction, nevertheless brash and stumps have been kept clear for most of the replacement line of the path. The aggregate path will be 476m long, 1.5m width and has been split up into 3no. sections (please see attached plan and survey). Features of the path work are a 500mm high 30m long causeway to stay above a wet hollow; tree planting, and the replacement of old timber steps at the far end of the path.
