Provision of Statutory Financial Audit Services Including the Production of Full Statutory Accounts and Filing with Companies House 2023

Tender description

Blackpool Council has appointed a suitable company in order to undertake full statutory financial audit services including the production of full statutory accounts and filing with Companies House for all of its entities. Lot 1: Tender submissions were accepted based on seven audit cycles in total, clearly setting out the price for each cycle. Provision of the service will commence 1 January 2024 with the audit of the 2023/24 accounts (1 April 2023 – 31 March 2024 financial year). This timing will allow for audit planning and interim audit work to be undertaken before the end of the relevant financial year. The successful bidder fully demonstrated their ability to complete all audit requirements, produce statutory accounts, audit report including audit opinion and file accounts with Companies House for each of the companies, in accordance with the timetable advertised.
