Waste Metal Acceptance and Recycling Services (4 lots)

Tender description

Lancashire County Council is seeking tenders for the provision of Waste Metal acceptance and recycling services. The services were to comprise the acceptance, weighing and recycling of waste metal arising from the Lancashire County Council waste facilities, and will delivered to a Provider's facility by Lancashire County Council and/or its transport contractor. Waste metal is deposited at the Lancashire County Council waste facilities by members of the public and as such, the quality of waste metal can vary. The services were being procured on the basis of four (4) lots: Lot 1 - East Lancashire, Lot 2 - Central Lancashire, Lot 3 - West Lancashire, and Lot 4 - North Lancashire. Lot 1: Lot 1 - East Lancashire Lancashire County Council is seeking tenders for the provision of Waste Metal acceptance and recycling services. The services will comprise the acceptance, weighing and recycling of waste metal arising from the Lancashire County Council waste facilities in Central Lancashire, and will delivered to a Provider's facility by Lancashire County Council and/or its transport contractor. Waste metal is deposited at the Lancashire County Council waste facilities by members of the public and as such, the quality of waste metal can vary. Lot 3: Lot 3 - West Lancashire Lancashire County Council is seeking tenders for the provision of Waste Metal acceptance and recycling services. The services will comprise the acceptance, weighing and recycling of waste metal arising from the Lancashire County Council waste facilities in West Lancashire, and will delivered to a Provider's facility by Lancashire County Council and/or its transport contractor. Waste metal is deposited at the Lancashire County Council waste facilities by members of the public and as such, the quality of waste metal can vary. Lot 4: Lot 4 - North Lancashire Lancashire County Council is seeking tenders for the provision of Waste Metal acceptance and recycling services. The services will comprise the acceptance, weighing and recycling of waste metal arising from the Lancashire County Council waste facilities in North Lancashire, and will delivered to a Provider's facility by Lancashire County Council and/or its transport contractor. Waste metal is deposited at the Lancashire County Council waste facilities by members of the public and as such, the quality of waste metal can vary.
