Tender description
The Department of Physics of the University of Cambridge provides modern laboratory accommodation and state of the art research facilities. The Maxwell Centre, which is operated by the Department, is a place for interdisciplinary research where industry can interact with academia and will house the new cryomagnetic measurement system.<br /><br />The Department of Physics has several low temperature and high magnetic field systems, with this new system providing a unique combination of ease-of-use with a range of capabilities including variable temperature range and high magnetic field. The versatility of the system is important as it will be part of a materials characterisation suite in the Maxwell Centre which will have a broad user base.<br />
