RFP for Consultant for developing module on financial literacy, and to review, contextualise and translate the existing module on Critical thinking and problem solving and delivering Training of Facilitator (ToF) on the produced modules in Bangladesh.

Tender description

The British Council is seeking to recruit Supplier with expertise in delivering training, content development, module revision, module contextualisation as well as sector knowledge in financial literacy, critical thinking, problem solving, communication skills, leadership and other relevant soft skills. The key objectives of the recruitment are:<br />• To develop one training module on financial literacy, and contextualise one existing module on critical thinking. <br />• To contextualise module for the training delivery<br />• To provide Trainers for delivering the Training of Trainers (ToT)<br />• To ensure quality training is delivered.<br /><br />2.1.1 Context <br />The British Council plays a role in building capacity of youth aged 18-35 in the nation's development process. We aim to integrate young individuals into national development by instilling productivity, organisation, and discipline. Our initiatives include promoting socio-economic activities and motivating youths in decent work, climate change and governance. We ensure youth participation in decision-making processes and create youth organisations for their involvement in national development. We are working closely with Civil society organisations and government. Recently we found that youths who graduated from the training led by Department of Youth Development (DYD) have a greater appetite for career advancement through financial literacy and critical thinking, including leadership and communication skills.<br /> <br />The British Council proposed a pilot project in partnership with DYD which will support career progression opportunities for young people and enable them to work towards achieving their potential. Furthermore, it will provide them with financial literacy, critical thinking and leadership skills that will allow them to progress their careers in a positive trajectory.<br />Details are in attachements<br />
