Request for an Expression of Interest for a Provider to Support a Child with a Disability within the Home

Sefton Council are inviting Expressions of interest for the following service:- CCN23-038 EOI – Specialist Support Package within the Home. Provider to support a child with a disability within the home. C has significant learning disabilities, epilepsy, a visual impairment, limited mobility and limited verbal communication. C has some seizures and absences. C is a happy young boy who enjoys the swing and rocking activities (Vestibular and proprioception). He specifically likes singing along to nursery songs on his iPad or TV. He likes playing with books (turning pages or flipping the flaps) and cause and effect toys. C has a strong bond with his Nan and Great nan. This is observed through his smile and eagerness to be comforted or engaged by them. C prefers quietness, especially in the mornings. He would prefer people to talk in a low tone and not talk at all when they are feeding him. C lives with his maternal nan and is subject to an SGO. C uses a buggy/wheelchair to access the community and sleeps in a specialist bed and has adapted facilities at home. C attends a special school in Litherland and has an EHC plan to ensure his additional educational needs are met. C enjoys school and is making progress with his communication. Keywords: EOI
