Tender description

Dumfries and Galloway Local Employability & Skills Partnership (DGLEP) are looking to work with support organisations and training providers who can deliver a range of employability services to people of all ages. The partnership is funded to provide and commission support for individuals who are unemployed, low skilled or who have a low-income role to support them to move towards and into learning, volunteering, training, education and/or work. There will also be support to help those who are low skilled and on low income to progress within employment. Lot 1: Four employability training programmes for 16 -24-year-olds The Commission This commission is available as two lots. Lot 1 – Four employability training programmes for 16 -24-year-olds. A programme must be made available and accessible for eligible clients in the North, East, West and South of the region. Requirements Submissions will detail how the delivery agent will respond to; Creating a plan for engaging with relevant partners to build a referral pipeline of eligible clients. An outline of course content including any accredited elements. This should also include an overview of the hours per week and the number of weeks the course will be delivered over. An overview who will be delivering the training and their qualifications and experience to allow them to provide training. Evidence that they can provide courses across the region, including outlining venues where the courses will be provided. Demonstrate how their approach and service will ensure that clients are supported to progress into, and sustain a positive destination such as work, training, education or volunteering. Outline the support that will be available to participants who complete the course. Lot 2: Four employability training programmes for those aged over 25 years of age Lot 2 – Four employability training programmes for those aged over 25 years of age.
