Tender description

As part of Glasgow City Council’s Resource and Recycling Strategy 2020-30, a commitment has been made to align frontline recycling services with the Charter for Household Recycling in Scotland and the associated Code of Practice. This will require the implementation of a twin-stream recycling service which will split the existing Dry Mixed Recycling (DMR) “blue bin” service into a separately collected Fibre (blue bin) and Containers (dark grey bin) fraction. Glasgow City Council are exploring a new container recycling service and are inviting suppliers to assist in this request for information which shall assist the council in the development of this procurement.
