Tender description
The current contractual arrangement for commissioning domiciliary care services in Essex (the Live at Home framework) is due to expire in August 2025. Work has begun on the design of the future service. The Council would like to invite any supplier currently delivering domiciliary care in Essex or any supplier who aspires to deliver care in Essex to one of two events on 21st November and 29th November to have an open and honest discussion around the strategic direction and to shape the future service. The focus of both events is domiciliary care services for older adults, including services for adults with mental health needs, as well as 24hour / live in care. (Please note that a separate event will be taking place in December for the design of services for adults with disabilities (including adults with learning disabilities &/or autism and physical and sensory impairments)). At each event there will be a number of workshops for suppliers to participate in, including: • Procurement model options • Payment model approach • Specification • Key Performance Indicators and Management Information • Workforce • Social Value, Climate, Equalities, Diversity and Inclusion • Technology (Electronic Homecare Monitoring, Digital Social Care Records, Care Technology / equipment • Integration with health and referral pathways Arrival for both events will be from 9.30am for a start 10am and will run for approximately 5 hours including a break for lunch / networking time. Both events will be the same, therefore you only need to book onto one of the event days. Due to the volume of suppliers expected, places will be limited to 2 places per organisation across both of the November events. Tickets for the Events can be booked via the links below. We will also be issuing a survey to gather feedback from suppliers, including those who were unable to attend either event.
