RDE 377 - Audit of Natural England-managed National Nature Reserve (NNR) Records

Tender description

The current project will update this audit to ensure we have a list of all records related to the above 3 categories since 2013. It will also detail file locations. Most items since 2013 are expected to be digital and an important part of the project is to ensure any appropriate digital information is stored centrally on our records systems (Records Hub/SharePoint). For paper/hardcopy documents a note of the location will be sufficient at this time (i.e. the documents do not need to be scanned or moved). The audit will need to take place face-to-face on NNR bases. This is because busy NNR staff do not have time to carry out the audit themselves and the contractor will need to have access to information that is located on reserve bases. Natural England manages 135 NNRs from c.40-45 reserve bases (see Annex 1 for a map of NNR bases). Contractors will only need to visit the c.40- 45 reserve bases rather than the 135 reserves. NE will provide a list of bases and contact details of the relevant staff. The contract was awarded by DEFRA.
