Proposed Dynamic Purchasing System for Learning Disabilities

The Learning Disability Open Framework is being recommissioned as it is due to expire and a new Open Framework (also known as a Dynamic Purchasing System) will be required for 01.04.2024. One major change Somerset Council is proposing is the recognition that the new Dynamic Purchasing System will NOT be just for providers offering care and support for adults with a learning disability. The proposal is that it will be for all providers (with the exception of those we hold separate contracts with or are signed up solely to the Homecare Open Framework) and we would therefore like to discuss this with interested parties. Lot 1: In order to participate in the new Dynamic Purchasing System Providers will need to be signed up before it goes live from April 2024.
