Tender description

Further to the F01: Prior information notice (prior information only) Notice reference: 2023/S 000-032862 Published 6 November 2023, 7:05pm and the webinar held on 23 November 2023, this message is seeking information from any supplier interested in delivering the CDC. As described in the webinar, the Trust is aiming to go out to the market for a large hub community diagnostic centre to provide an endoscopy and relevant services (the “CDC”). The procurement will be a competitive process under the Provider Selection Regime and the Trust is currently working on the procurement documents. The Trust is keen to understand from interested suppliers whether they consider it is possible to either build or develop a building within the relevant geography and charge for delivering the relevant services in the CDC using pricing under the NHS Payment System (the scheme that has replaced the national tariff). Lot 1: This Prior Information Notice is to engage with the market prior to the notification of a potential procurement of a new Community Diagnostic Centre which will deliver community diagnostics across Northamptonshire county to meet diagnostic demand in the county which has increased since COVID-19. The Trust will be looking to the market to submit proposals for providing the Northampton CDC and to submit plans for and to secure a specific location to carry out the services, capable to meet potential future demand. The CDC should be located within or on the outskirts of Northampton. This CDC will be built and run by the successful provider on a long-term contract with an activity-based pricing structure that is at or below tariff. The CDC will provide accessible endoscopy and diagnostic tests to communities with the anticipation of providing training and education to the local skilled workforce in the future. A market engagement webinar, took place on 23/11/23. We now seek further information to understand from interested suppliers whether they consider it is possible to either build or develop a building within the relevant geography and charge for delivering the relevant services in the CDC using pricing under the NHS Payment System (the scheme that has replaced the national tariff). Please ensure that you respond to this PIN notice by 07/02/2024 The information requested is for information only and will be kept completely confidential. Additional information: Please note that this is not a call for competition and no contract will be awarded. Following this information gathering a further notice will be published in Find a Tender to start any formal procurement process. The Trust is not responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties participating in this market engagement exercise.
