Call-Off 1: Community-based D/deaf Prevention Services

Call-Off 1 which was awarded under the sole Provider Framework Agreement for D/deaf Services DN676909. This Call-Off Contract will deliver a prevention-focused offer which will build connection, improve access to information and skills to support self-care, independence and well-being, and address issues that could escalate and have a negative impact on well-being or independence. The Provider will do this through a combination of three approaches: • A ‘Community Organising’ approach that will connect D/deaf people, their families, carers and wider communities and motivate them to share skills and assets to achieve common goals and build capacity/social capital. • Partnership working to support D/deaf people’s priority goals, create opportunities, and address inequality in access and outcomes. • Delivery of brief interventions, including welfare rights support, to support well-being, prevention and navigation.
