Tender description

Request For Information:- The Authority is currently looking to procure the following. 1. The user requires a 105mm Illumination shell for the 105mm calibre L118 Light Gun to provide illumination in the white visual spectrum in support of the war fighting Division, STRIKE and armoured infantry (AI) brigades, Airborne Task Force, Lead Commando Group and Reserve. 2. Must be compatible with the current fuze and charges used with the in Service 105mm Illum shell (L43). - L163 Fuze - Charges L35, L36 & L45. 3. The fuzed Illumination projectile shall be compatible with the in-service L118 Light Gun barrel. 4. The fuzed Illumination projectile shall deliver target effect at a range equal to or greater than 15700m. 5. After expulsion of the illumination components shall provide Illumination in the visible (0.4 to 0.7μm) spectrum. State your product capability regarding the below; - Brightness measured in Candelas. - Non flickering circular range - Illumination burn time characteristics.
