Testing of Food substances for Trading Standards. Soft Market Test (SMT) for the provision of Public Analyst services. The supplier shall undertake all tasks to the standards normally expected of an appointed Public Analyst and this stage is an opportunity to respond to the council’s information gathering questionnaire to help further shape the specification of the requirement and preparation of invitation to tender documents. Please note that this market testing exercise is not an invitation to tender or a request for formal expressions of interest. The SMT document does not form any part of an invitation to tender. Peterborough City Council (PCC) is issuing this request for information only. Please note, the Public Analyst and Agricultural Analyst Services to which this Soft Market Test relates can only be delivered by laboratories designated as official food and feed laboratories for Great Britain for enforcement purposes.
