PAN3200 - Market Engagement for Leicester City Council’s Waste Contract(s) from 2028

Leicester City Council (‘the Council’) would like to consult the market in relation to its waste management contract(s), including, but not limited to: household waste collections, disposal and treatment; recycling, food waste collection and associated services. The current provision is delivered via an Integrated Waste Management contract. This PFI arrangement expires in May 2028. At this stage it is soft market test only and NOT A CALL FOR COMPETITION ___________________________________________ Soft Market Test questionnaires can be accessed and response submitted via the above portal (see Buyer's address above) by 12 noon on Monday, 11th November 2024 This a a second market engagement exercise in relation to this contract or contracts. Previous engagement PAN3002. This exercise is a next stage of market engagement and it builds on the previous market test. All interested suppliers are invited to respond. Lot 1: This is market engagement exercise only. May result in future procurement or multiple procurements, which may or may not include lots (II.1.6 is a mandatory filed and not a final indication). Depending on the procurement strategy (to be decided), the resultant tender or tenders are expected to be advertised from March 2024 onwards. Estimated value at II.1.5 Estimated total value will depend on the scope of the contract(s) tenders and duration of respective contract(s). Date at II.3.
