THIS OPPORTUNITY IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO THOSE SUPPLIERS WHO HAVE BEEN AWARDED A PLACE ON CCS FRAMEWORK RM6165 - CONSTRUCTION PROFESSIONAL SERVICES - LOT 1: BUILT ENVIRONMENT ACUA Reference: CPS -1-28948-2023 With funding from DLUHC’s Towns Fund programme Peterborough City Council (PCC) will be developing ‘The Vine’, a new financially self-sustaining library, learning, cultural and commercial offer across two sites in Peterborough City Centre by 2026. This procurement is for a multidisciplinary design team (MDDT) to advance 'The Vine’ project for one or both sites across the RIBA plan of work stages 1-6. This MDDT procurement will include pricing options for Central Library or Central Library and Goods Shed combined and bidders will be required to bid for both scenarios. A decision as to which option the Authority would like to pursue will be made during the ITT stage, prior to the Bids being accessed by the Authority. The Authority will only proceed to evaluate one of these two options. It should be noted that whilst an indicative programme for the Vine in the Goods Shed is not detailed, the facility is required to be operational by end of March 2026. Council is currently considering the best delivery strategy and contract form for the construction delivery stage, but it is anticipated that the procurement approach will be 2-Stage D&B. with the novation and/or retention of consultants as client-side advisors over RIBA 4-6.
