MARKET ENGAGEMENT EVENT FOR HEALTHWATCH HARINGEY

Haringey Council ("the Council") is in process of re-commissioning its Local Healthwatch Service. Healthwatch was established under the Health and Social Care Act 2012 to understand the needs, experiences and concerns of people who use health and social care services and to speak out on their behalf. A local Healthwatch service is a statutory requirement. Healthwatch Haringey seeks the views of local residents to find out their thoughts on local health and social care services. This information is shared with providers and commissioners to help improve local health and social care services. The current contract for this service expires at the end of May 2024 and the new contract shall commence in June 2024. The Council is keen to consult and engage the provider market in commissioning process and inviting interested organisations to a Pre-procurement Market engagement Event. This event will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams on: Date: Wednesday, 29th November 2023 Time: 10:30am The aim of this event is to consult with current and prospective providers on the service and how it will continue to support Haringey residents. The market engagement event will include a presentation of the Council's commissioning intentions, overview of the anticipated requirements and the proposed procurement process. It will also offer potential service providers the opportunity to raise any questions or present any views prior to proceeding to the 'Invitation to Tender' phase of our commissioning programme. The Council is committed to working with the marketplace to maximise the commissioning opportunities under this contract and therefore would encourage all current and prospective providers to attend.
