Consultant in Investigative Journalism

Tender description

Leeds Trinity University seeks a supplier to provide workshops and other mentoring activities or learning sessions to students on the subject of Investigative Journalism. The supplier will be, or able to provide staff that are an internationally renown subject expert, with demonstrable track record in the field. The supplier will be expected to spend at least 15 working days in total for the following tasks: 1. Lead sessions for students attending Northern Big Story Week in May 2024. 2. Work with LTU academics to design sessions for Northern Big Story Week. 3. Attend any undergrad and postgrad modular/programme design sessions which need to reflect skills of an internationally renowned public interest journalism organisation. 4. Present online masterclasses in aspects of international public interest journalism throughout academic year. 5. Provide mentoring opportunities for students. 6. Allow the university to use supplier's organization logo and name 7. Support in the promotion of the above events.
