Baby Feeding Options - Early Intervention and Family Support Services within the Children and Family Centres and other Related Venues

Structured sessions to support new and expecting parents to improve the early experiences of their children in an affordable and sustainable way. Examples of topics that parents have requested are listed below, but should not be considered as the only options:- • Birth experience • Attachment & Development • Weaning & dental • Potty training • Sleep strategies • Maternal mood • Safety and minor ailments • Returning to work • Relationships • Responsibilities as a parent • Mental Health – life after a baby’s birth • How to feel comfortable going out with baby We require a programme of up to six sessions of Sessions should be at least 60mins but not exceed 1hr 30mins, and be accessible as ‘stand-alone’ sessions. No duplication of existing statutory midwifery / Health visitor services, or any of the parenting programmes offered within Bromley’s Children and Family Centres Preference will be given to those organisations able to clearly demonstrate that their service: - • is targeting specific and identified need in specific areas within Bromley; and • is not duplicating statutory provision but is providing additionality.
