Tender description

Accreditation UK is a quality assurance scheme for UK providers of English language teaching. The British Council has managed the scheme (under different names) for over 40 years. It makes a significant contribution to the visibility of the British Council in the UK and our reputation as a world authority in English language teaching. It is currently managed in formal partnership with English UK, the professional association for accredited UK ELT providers. There are currently nearly 400 British Council accredited language centres who pay an annual fee to the British Council for the operation of the Scheme and pay the direct costs of inspection (the programme is cost recovery).<br /><br />We need to add to our panel of freelance inspectors, experts in English language teaching, to carry out inspections within the Accreditation UK quality assurance scheme. We need to recruit at least six to join the team over the coming 12-18 months.
