Trafford and Stockport Youth LGBT Provision

Tender description

Trafford and Stockport local authorities are looking to jointly commission a LGBT+ youth offer for young people aged 13 – 18 years (up until their 19th birthday). The offer will include regular group sessions which will provide young people with opportunity to explore their sexuality and gender identity, provide ongoing support, signpost to appropriate services and develop a peer support network. The service will also provide regular workshops / talks with schools to raise awareness and educate both teaching staff and pupils. Although a joint contract, delivery will be specific to each authority. The contract will begin 1st April 2024 for a period of up to 3 years.
