HIAL has a small in-house Communications Department that supports colleagues with internal and external communication and engagement advice and delivery, stakeholder management, events, marketing campaigns, and online presence - websites and social media. The aim of the Public Relations Service provision is to supplement the service provided by HIAL’s Communications Department, by providing specialist advice and flexible assistance with media and stakeholder management, external crisis communication and reputation management, The Public Relations Service provision will supplement the service provided by HIAL’s Communications Department, by providing specialist advice and flexible assistance with media and stakeholder management, external crisis communication and reputation management. The Supplier shall assist HIAL to achieve the following goals, as a minimum: - To promote the work of HIAL and its 11 airports; articulating HIAL’s role, purpose, objectives, and its contribution to social and economic benefits for local communities; - To help maintain and develop stakeholder opinions and improve stakeholder communications; - To support HIAL’s ongoing communication and engagement with key stakeholders; and - To increase local air traveller awareness and support for the HIAL airport routes.
