Level 8 National Foundation Education Programme in Pre Admission Unit Care for Nurses/Midwives

Tender description

The Health Service Executive (on behalf of all Publicly Funded Health Agencies) invites proposals from suitably qualified Universities and Higher Educational Institutes (HEI) including Institutes of Technology for the accreditation, delivery and evaluation of a Level 8 National Foundation Education Programme in Pre Admission Unit Care for the academic year commencing Jan 2024 (with an ECTS award of at least 10 credits) for approximately 250 Nurses/Midwives based on an agreed curriculum developed by the Pre Admission Unit education steering group. The figure of 250 is not a guarantee of the actual numbers who may undertake the programme. The figure of 250 students is over the life of the contract (2 years). The required services listed subject to Article 74 of the Supplies and Services Directive (for non-priority Services listed in Annex XIV subject to light touch regulation).
