Tender description

SEAI’s Sustainable Energy Communities (SEC) Programme offers a range of supports to currently over 770+ communities in the SEC Network across Ireland. The SEC Programme aim is to engage and enable energy citizens across Learn-Plan-Do phases of the programme. An SEC is a community that work together to develop a sustainable energy system for the benefit of the community. This is achieved by: aiming, as far as possible, to be energy efficient; using renewable energy where feasible: and adopting smart energy solutions. This framework will continue to build the SEC network up to 1200 communities by 2028, enable SECs to undertake their Energy Master Plan and realise projects in their communities, to achieve their ambitions on a journey towards net zero. The estimated total budget over approximately 6 Lots is estimated at €17 million excluding VAT. The expected maximum term of the framework including extensions will be 4 years.
