Accommodation & Support for Unaccompanied Asylum Seekers (UASC) Aged 18+

Tender description

Active8 Support Services provide accommodation and support for homeless UASC 18 + who have been assessed as in need of continuing care under the Children's Act 1989. The accommodation and support packages are purchased as required and volumes will vary according to demand. Cabinet approved a further direct award for this provider to continue to deliver these services in July 2023. This was to ensure that statutory services are maintained pending the outcome of a procurement exercise. A tender for a multi provider framework to deliver these services launched on 24/8/2023 and will close on the 22/9/2023. The outcome of the tendering exercise is on the forward plan for approval by Cabinet at the November 2023 meeting. This exemption is to cover the interim period between July 2023 and the start date of the new framework which is planned to go live on the 1/1/2024.
