A virtual Supplier Event will be held via Microsoft Teams at 2:30pm on 01 November 2023. Lot 1: This is not a call for competition - This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to alert the market that Bristol City Council on behalf of Bristol Schools intends to appoint a single provider for the provision of School Cleaning. A new school cleaning framework contract will be established to replace the existing contract which expires in May 2024 and procured under the ‘Open Process’ route. The framework contract will be for 25+ Bristol Schools to provide school cleaning services. This will be a new 3-year contract with the option to extend by a further 12 months and will include nursery, infant, junior, primary, special, and secondary schools, and the new contractor will provide a cleaning service to specification, bespoke additional cleaning services and TUPE will apply. The estimated contract value for Schools Cleaning will be in the region of £1,350,000.00 per annum including VAT, with a total spend over a 4-year period of £5.5m. A supplier event will follow before the formal competition is announced in later this year. The school cleaning will consist of daily, periodic, and summer in-depth cleaning requirements.
