In summary, the Services comprise of the control of Rhododendron ponticum in Wild Nephin National Park: • Location 1: Claggan, Mulranney, Co. Mayo. (Rhododendron control 4.84 ha treatment area) • Location 2: Srahdugguan, Ballycroy, Co. Mayo (Rhododendron control 56.16 ha treatment area and removal of standing dead previously treated rhododendron .91 ha) • Location 3. Bellacorick (Altnabrocky), Crossmolina, Co. Mayo (Rhododendron control 2.94 ha treatment area) It is intended that the services are to be completed prior to the end of 2023. Pricing is to be inclusive of labour and materials. Tenderers are to specify price for each of the locations above. Tenderers should also specify the price for removal of standing dead previously treated rhododendron at Srahdugguan (Location 2). The required approach is Glyphosate application using treatment methods appropriate for local conditions. Removal of standing dead previously treated rhododendron at Srahdugguan (Location 2) must be carried out using a methodology acceptable to Wild Nephin National Park management.
