N56 Doonwell to Drumbrick Road Scheme - Topographical Survey

Tender description

In order to progress the detailed design of the N56 Doonwell to Drumbrick Road Scheme, Donegal County Council require the services of a Topographical Surveying Contractor to provide topographical and other associated surveysunder this Topographical Surveying Contract. The project, located between the villages of Kilmacrennan and Termon, involves the proposed realignment of approx. 1.2km of the existing N56 between Doonwell Junction, with a separate Active Travel facility within the verge and extending a further 1km north as far as the R255 Regional Road Junction & 1 km south as far as Kilmacrennan. Further scheme works will entail realignment of adjoining side roads and their junctions with the N56, diversion of existing utilities, pavement construction, drainage works and safety measures.
