Market Engagement - Highways Maintenance and Improvement Contracts

Southend-on-Sea City Council ("the Authority") will be undertaking the procurement of a delivery partner(s) to maintain, manage and improve its highway network and associated assets. The new arrangements will commence in August 2025 when the current arrangements cease. The Authority wishes to engage with potential providers to understand the market and to help refine the model prior to the formal start of the procurement process. The Authority is inviting potential providers to complete a questionnaire and/or to attend a meeting with the Authority to discuss the requirements. Organisations who would like to attend a market engagement meeting or to complete a questionnaire can express their interest by email to antonbull@southend.gov.uk Expressions of interest must be received by 12.00 noon on Thursday 9th November 2023 and meetings will take place between 20th and 30th November 2023.
