Monaghan County Council has secured “Category 2” funding under the Rural Regeneration and Development Fund (RRDF) to initiate the development of the Carrickmacross Workhouse site to provide a Community, Tourism and Arts Hub. Category 2 funding relates to the development of project proposals through to “shovel ready” status.
