Job Title: Solicitor - Housing Disrepair (Civil and Business) Rate of Pay: £23.09 per hour (Inside IR35) Hours: 37 hours per week Location: Sandwell Council House, Oldbury, B69 3DE Start Date: ASAP Contract type: Temporary (Agency) 12 weeks with a view to extend Job Description and Personnel Specification are attached, which also provides more information above the role. Brief description: About you: You will be qualified solicitor, barrister, or chartered legal executive. The Role: • Prepare and process cases and legal documents in the area of disrepair for Housing and litigation. • Carry a caseload and work with minimal or no supervision. • Personally, manage complex casework and legal projects in the area of Housing and litigation law. • Assist with the setting up of internal processes and deliver training to internal client department. • Provide responsive advice on the management of risk on legal issues.
