The SIA are looking for an established supplier for the provision of the service of legal process to respondents. This will also include tracing enquiries to locate addresses for respondents in the event their current address is not known. SIA (SIA) is a Non-Departmental Public Body that regulates the Private Security Industry. Our Purpose is: The Security Industry Authority is the organisation responsible for regulating the private security industry. We are an independent body, established in 2003, reporting to the Home Secretary under the terms of the Private Security Industry Act 2001. Our mission is to regulate the private security industry effectively; to reduce criminality, raise standards and recognise quality service. Our remit covers the United Kingdom. We have two main duties: • The compulsory licensing of individuals undertaking designated activities within the private security industry, and • To manage the voluntary Approved Contractor Scheme.
