Provision of an Enhanced Assessment Beds Service

Tender description

Sandwell Council wishes to appoint multiple Contractor(s) to provide an Enhanced Assessment Nursing Beds Service within care homes that are registered with the Care Quality Commission and are located within the borough of Sandwell. There are various Lots available to tender for, of which further information can be found in the ITT. The Enhanced Assessment Beds Service has as its primary function the prevention of admission to hospital or facilitation of discharge from hospital through a rapid, co-ordinated response and by operating 7 days a week. The service specifications outline the main aims of the provisions, the services to be provided within the contract and the connections to other services in the community. Lot 2: Enhanced Assessment Beds Service: Nursing and Dementia Nursing – non weight bearing beds only Please see ITT documentation. Additional information: The contract will run from 1st October 2021 to 30th September 2022 with the option to extend to 30th September 2023, with agreement. Lot 4: Enhanced Assessment Beds Service: Step Up Nursing and Step Up Dementia Nursing Please see ITT documentation.
