Provision for the Maintenance Supply & Installation of Vehicle Restraint/Barrier Systems for CCBC

Tender description

The Councils biggest asset is the Highway Network (1154km) and the Council maintains approximately 53km of Vehicle Restraint Systems as part of this. This contract shall be the installation, supply and maintenance of all of the Council’s existing vehicle restraint systems (VRS) including for the construction of replacement and new VRS, to ensure safety for users of the highway system within the geographic boundary of the Council. The works and/ or services will be at various locations throughout the County Borough of Caerphilly. Caerphilly County Borough Council is located in Gwent. The Borough has boundaries with the Local Authorities of Cardiff, Newport, Blaenau Gwent, Torfaen, Merthyr Tydfill and Rhondda Cynon Taff and therefore works maybe required by those neighbouring authorities that border the Council from time to time
