Mill Meadows Adventure Playground

Tender description

The design and installation of an adventure playground, including play equipment, surfacing, benches and bins, and an additional entrance, at Mill Meadows in Henley-on-Thames. Scope of work The work will consist of: • Detailed designs for the playground, including drawings and specifications; • Working in collaboration with the Town Council to undertake a public consultation on the draft designs and to amend them accordingly; • Obtaining all necessary permissions, licences and approvals to undertake the work; • Removing and disposing of the existing play equipment; • Installing the new play equipment; • Installing new surfacing; • Installing benches, tables and bins; • Installing an additional entrance; • Associated landscaping to dress the playground: • Equipment and workmanship warranties and support for ongoing maintenance. Anticipated value The anticipated value of the contract is £125,000, with a c.10% allowance either side.
