County Durham Integrated Strategic Commissioning Team would like to invite Providers who deliver, have delivered, or would like to deliver services to support the social care needs of children and young people with a range of disabilities and complex needs in the community. At this session Commissioners will share forthcoming commissioning and procurement intentions for securing services that can provide support social care needs of children and young people with a range of disabilities to: a) Engage in positive activities in the community with support. b) Provide Short Breaks for parent carers (not overnight) c) Provide intensive support. This session will be held on Thursday 19th October 2023, at the Durham Centre, Belmont Industrial Estate, Durham, DH1 1TN. Arrival from 9.30a.m for tea/ coffee, with a start time for the session from 10.00am until 12.30pm. There will then be lunch provided with an opportunity for providers to network with wider providers share ideas etc Areas to be considered as part of this session will include. 1. Vision, priorities, and strategy 2023 - 2026. 2. Commissioning and procurement intentions and timeline. 3. Descriptors/ needs of children and young people. 4.
