Integrated Sexual Health Service in Somerset

Tender description

A specialist integrated sexual health service (ISHS) provides service users with open access to confidential, non-judgemental services including sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and blood borne viruses (BBV) testing (including HIV), treatment and management; HIV prevention including pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and post-exposure prophylaxis following sexual exposure (PEPSE); the full range of contraceptive provision; health promotion and prevention including relevant vaccination. Lot 1: This service specification is informed by the Somerset Sexual Health Needs Assessment and at the time of development an understanding of particularly vulnerable groups and where the burden of sexual ill health is recognised to be greater.
