Turagh Crescent is located off Main Street in Cappaghmore. The site is accessed through an existing Local authority development constructed in 2007 and adjacent to a community care day centre. The site is in two parts. The first is a small pocket of land adjacent to the last house in Turagh Crescent and is owned by Limerick City & County Council. The larger portion of the site (1.25ha) is currently used for agricultural purposes and is owned by the Housing Agency. Overall the scheme has a capacity of c 45 units. The scheme may be built in two phases but will be planned as a single development. It is anticipated that the project will be subject to the Part 8 planning process.
