Request for Tenders for the Provision of Specialised Cleaning of Data Halls for the Office of the Revenue Commissioners

Tender description

The two Revenue Data Centres referred to in this contract represent critical state infrastructure and the performance of the technology used at these locations contributes to the achievement of Revenue’s strategic goals. The Data Centres are located at St John’s Rd, Kilmainham, Dublin 8 and New Stamping Building, Dublin Castle, Dublin 2. Each location will need to be cleaned four times per year (eight cleaning sessions in total). It should be noted that in the event of unforeseen circumstances Revenue may require additional cleaning session(s) to be provided at relatively short notice. Tenders are required to nominate a dedicated contract manager to oversee all aspects of the service contract. Revenue will agree scheduled/unscheduled cleaning sessions with the contract manager in advance. An Audit Report will need to be provided following each individual clean and Revenue may, at any time, request a meeting with the contract manager. The St. John’s Road Data Centre comprises three Data Halls and has a raised floor area of 600 square meters and hardware consisting of 270 server cabinets, 350 meters of busbars, 300 meters of trunking and 125 light fittings that require cleaning. The Dublin Castle Data Centre comprises two Data Halls and has a raised floor area of 260 square meters and hardware consisting of 70 server cabinets, 110 meters of busbars and 115 meters of trunking.
