Provision of Insurance Requirements

Tender description

This is a Prior Information Notice (PIN) regarding the provision of insurance services for the University of Manchester and there is no requirement for insurance brokerage services. The University of Manchester are looking to publish a contract notice late February 2023/very early in March 2023 to procure its suite of insurance requirements which include; Combined Liability, Motor Fleet, Crime, Personal Accident & Travel and Marine Cargo. It is anticipated that the University will require providers tender submissions completing and returning to the University early April 2023. It is envisaged that the service provision will be advertised as separate Lots as included within this notice and bidders will be permitted to bid for individual &/or any combination of lots. It is further envisaged that the procurement will be carried out under the Open procedure. The contract period is estimated to run from 01.06.2023 for a period of 3 years with the option to extend for a further 2 x 12 month periods. The University reserves the right to alter lot titles and further detail regarding the lots and the final versions will be set out clearly in the contract notice and the ITT documentation. Please note that: Registering a response to this Prior Information Notice does not guarantee an invitation to participate in any future procurement that the University may conduct. Should a notice to tender be published a new expression of interest would be required in accordance with that notice. This Prior Information Notice has been issued by the University purely to advise prospective and incumbent providers in the market of this potential opportunity and to help support providers in ensuring that bid-writing teams are available.
