Provision of Cost Management & Quantity Surveying Services, Parade Quay, Waterford

Tender description

Waterford City & County Council now invites tenders for the provision of cost management and quantity surveying consultancy services for a mixed use development situated in and around Parade Quay in Waterford’s Viking Triangle. This project comprises the following elements; • Redevelopment of No’s 124 to 130, Parade Quay (East Terrace). These works will provide an exemplar “living above the shop” model with 12 residential apartments over three floors, above 5/6 commercial units at street level. Combined gross floor areas circa 1800m2. • Refurbishment of Central Hall, a 19th Century, a three storey church hall into a venue building with ancillary office accommodation. Gross floor area circa 400m2. • Refurbishment of the OPW Building adjoining Central Hall as part of the office accommodation offer. Gross floor area circa 50m2. • Creation of a new amenity and public space at Friary Square between Parade Quay and Bailey’s New Street. Foot print circa 400m2. • Enabling and demolition works adjacent to a national monument and protected structures
