<p>Havant Borough Council has an adopted local plan comprising the Havant Borough Local Plan (Core Strategy 2011) and the Havant Borough Local Plan (Allocations 2014).In 2018, in order to inform the Councils previous local plan which was being created, the council published the Playing Pitch Strategy (PPS) for Havant Borough which covered the period of 2018-2036. The PPS included a number of specific recommendations and actions relating to existing sports provision in the Borough, including its protection and what areas may need to be improved upon in the future. At the time the PPS was produced, it was considered to be in line with the previous local plan (HBLP 2036) and the guidance produced by Sport England. Although not examined by the Planning Inspectorate, the PPS was considered to be a robust and accurate strategy.</p> Keywords: consultancy
